Heat exchanger
The FTGS14 is ideal for handling a variable load normally associated with temperature controlled heat exchangers. Air and incondensable gases are alsodischarged efficiently to ensure rapid warm-up during start-up conditions.

Separator drainage
Separator efficiency can only be maintained by removing condensate as it is formed which makes the FTGS14 the ideal choice.

Rotating drying cylinders
Whenever a steam trap is fitted remotely from the plant being drained or more specifically on slow speed cylinders using scoops or fixed syphons, steam locking can occur.The ball float steam trap is the only type of trap with a steam lock release facility.
