Philmac Foot Valves are designed to permit fluid flow in one direction only.
The valves function over a wide range of operational pressures.
Valves can be installed either horizontally or vertically.
Place the valve below the inlet of the pump to prevent loss of prime. Philmac PTFE tape is recommended on BSP threads for a positive seal.

Minimum Sealing Pressure: 20 kPa or 2m of head at 200C; 3 psi or 6.5 feet of head at 730F
Maximum Operating Pressure: 1400 kPa or 200 psi at 200C / 730F
Operating Temperature: Connection is cold water (less than 200C) rated.
Threads: Available in either BSP (Whitworth form) or NPT

Philmac foot and non-return valves can be connected to both plastic and metal threaded fittings.

Application:
Agriculture: Foot valves on pumps. Non-return on elevated pipelines.
Irrigation: Foot valves on pumps. Non-return on rising mainlines.
