Stainless Steel Butt Weld Fittings are used to connect and create pipe-work systems. They are welded around the fitting and the pipe circumference. Used where a system requires good flow, they are installed as permanent pipe systems. Most fittings are supplied with a bevelled edge for welding.

Supplied in both Schedule 10 { SCH10} & Schedule 40 {SCH40} Schedule 80 fittings and heavier are available on application. These butt weld fittings are all ASTM A403 standard. Manufactured and marked as WP316 / 316L. 316L is the low carbon version of 316 stainless steel, has good resistance to carbide precipitation (sensitisation). This makes it suited for use in heavy gauge (over about 6mm) welded components.
