General pressure vessel information
Pre charge air pressure must be set up correctly while the vessel is drained.
For domestic installations the precharge pressure should be approximately 3psi less than the lowest cut-in pressure.
When the system is to be run at higher pressures or when using larger horizontal pressure vessels the difference may be as high as 15psi.
