Yorkshire XPress Pressfit plumbing fittings have a specifically designed ‘O’ ring that offers a secure seal. The leak free joint is closed by pressure applied by a Pressfit tool, such as a Pressing Machine.
There is no solder or heat applied to the joints, meaning that there is little chance of heat damaging the seal.
When connecting this system, any joints that have not formed a sufficient seal will show small leaks, which can then be re-examined and corrected ready for use.
