Tracpipe

Tracpipe® is a flexible stainless steel semi-rigid gas piping to BS 7838 suitable for natural gas, propane or butane installations. Tracpipe bends by hand, needs very limited joining and dramatically reduces installation time with speed, flexibility and ease of handling and fitting. TracPipe is available on long length reels, in seven bore sizes (DN 12,15,22,28,32,40 & 50) and terminates with male BSP fittings.TracPipe® is currently in use for gas piping systems in houses, flats and apartments, as well as schools, hospitals, commercial and industrial buildings.

Tracpipe is manufactured to BS 7838 and may be buried directly in screed/concrete, without the need for additional protection. Flow capacities for residential sizes of TracPipe are identical to those for copper (see BS 6891 - Specification for installation of low pressure gas pipework of up to 28 mm (R1) in domestic premises (2nd family gas)).

BSi Kitemarked to British Standard BS7838, TracPipe is suitable for natural gas, propane or butane, (1st 2nd and 3rd family gases), at working pressures to 75mbar.
For working pressures above 75mbar reference should be made to The Institution of Gas Engineers Utilization Procedures IGE/UP/2, and copies of approvals to ANSI (American National Standards Institute) can be provided.
