Rainwater Harvesting
Rainwater Harvesting - DAB, ESPA and Envireau systems for the management , distribution and exploitation of rainwater. Rainwater harvesting systems collects rainwater from the roof, filters out leaves and debris and store it in either an underground or above ground holding tank. Water is then drawn off via a silent running pump passing through a series of filters for use in a variety of nonpotable applications as and when required. When stored water is not available the system automatically switches to mains water thereby ensuring that a constant water supply is maintained without intervention from the user. Collecting rain from your roof can reduce surface water by approximately 60% per plot. Rainwater harvesting in the UK has increased by approximately 300% in the last two years and the payback period can be as quick as 3 years on buildings with large roofs and a high non-potable water demand. Water and waste that we discard can be recycled and provide a valuable resource. Waste water from baths, showers, washing machines, dishwashers and sinks is often referred to as Grey Water. Waste from toilets is known as Black Water. Untreated greywater can be used for garden watering if used immediately after it is produced. The waste water from kitchen sinks and dishwashers is not usually collected as it is heavily contaminated. |

TracPipe
TracPipe® is a stainless steel semi-rigid gas piping to BS 7838 suitable for natural gas, propane or butane installations. TracPipe bends by hand, needs very limited joining and dramatically reduces installation time with speed, flexibility and ease of handling and fitting. TracPipe is available on long length reels, in seven bore sizes (DN 12,15,22,28,32,40 & 50) and terminates with male BSP fittings.TracPipe® is currently in use for gas piping systems in houses, flats and apartments, as well as schools, hospitals, commercial and industrial buildings. Tracpipe is manufactured to BS 7838 and may be buried directly in screed/concrete, without the need for additional protection. Flow capacities for residential sizes of TracPipe are identical to those for copper (see BS 6891 - Specification for installation of low pressure gas pipework of up to 28 mm (R1) in domestic premises (2nd family gas)). BSi Kitemarked to British Standard BS7838, TracPipe is suitable for natural gas, propane or butane, (1st 2nd and 3rd family gases), at working pressures to 75mbar. For working pressures above 75mbar reference should be made to The Institution of Gas Engineers Utilization Procedures IGE/UP/2, and copies of approvals to ANSI (American National Standards Institute) can be provided. |
